Though Grunge was born in Seattle, no other city may have
embraced it as lovingly (or as permanently) as Philadelphia.
And as Grunge turned 20, a new Alternative Grunge
music scene was officially launched in April 2010 by two Philadelphia-area bands, A Crucifying Feeling and SoulsilenS.

To celebrate the new Alternative Grunge, starting on
August 20/21 and on the third Friday/Saturday of every month thereafter, the two bands will perform together LIVE at 9pm at Bootleggers in Philadelphia. The bands will perform full sets
of both previous and newer material, with each event hosted
by a special guest host who will be chatting live with audience members, interviewing band members, and giving away prizes
for street team and other audience members.

A local opening act will start each party, awakening
the music scene until it burns out of control late into the night.

To celebrate the new Alternative Grunge, four members of
the two bands will perform exclusive, acoustic versions of both previous and new material in free, world-wide, live,
online events once a month, with four of the bands' musicians
(Andrei SoulsilenS and TrE from SoulsilenS, and
Paris Kalamaras and Jarod Kulp from A Crucifying Feeling) interpreting both established and newer material, both together and separately, all making each online event even more unique.

Beginning Sunday, August 1, 2010 at 12 noon Eastern time,
and on the first Sunday of each month thereafter, the two bands
will be streaming this monthly, hourlong online show. Each event
will feature a special guest host who will be chatting live
with audience members online, answering their questions,
and giving away prizes in real time.
